Tri Fin Hovercraft have been upgraded with 1/8" shorter fins

I resize them for older boards if desired .

When custom ordering I always use what you have been riding in creating the board .

Joey definatley likes way "looser" set ups as seen from his posts .

+1 for the VS manta. With some additions:
Traditional mini sim for soft waves.
VS Manta for small but well formed waves
Super fling for your next step up: waist to shoulder and you’re starting to want a bit more from top to bottom.
Im 6’4 215 so I’m not a direct comparison but if it helps:
5’10 mini sim
5’8” manta
5’10 fling

My back foot normally winds up at the front of the traction pad popping up in shitty surf. If that is what is happening and it bogs if it's all the way back on takeoff, congratulations, the waves are legit shitty! Mentally discipline/focus on getting enough speed to move it back if that is the only issue?
If your front foot is too far off the heel side and your back foot is well in front of the traction on the toe-side, your hips/legs might be stiff, and popping "up" in small surf vs the board falling away in better surf could be relevant.
Design wise, tail wider or flatter.
