There's also a reason why Hunter's leftist "special prosecutor" has accelerated prosecuting Hunter. If Joe gets removed either by election, or by impeachment, then he will lose the opportunity to pardon Hunter if Hunter hasn't yet been convicted.

.....Democrats eat their own when there's blood in the water.

Since you've identified Biden's mental fitness as a partisan issue, please link us to a conservative or even a random Republican urging Democrats to do something about Biden. There's a reason why leftist media rags are FINALLY reporting on Biden's gaffes and negative poll numbers.

Absolutely, NO. As a conservative, I want Democrats to stay with the drooling mobbed-up imbecile you put into office for the 3 years you admit that Biden has been the same guy that he is right now.
.
Biden is "mobbed up"!

ahahaha squidtard is so precious

The republicans running Trump, or even considering running Trump, is full unmitigated retard. The least the democrats could do is shitcan Ms. Harris if Biden is the only electable democrat. Like I said above, it’s saddening that Biden is the most viable option, no way he makes it through 5 more years.

The GOP who you could credibly call "the Republicans running Trump, or even considering running Trump" are the rank-and-file. There is zero high-level-party-control apparatus at work here. This is democracy working perfectly. The big donors are now sitting on their hands, having surrendered trying to prop up his opponents and failing. Trump has raised more money off under $200 donations than the rest of the GOP field COMBINED.

IMHO Biden is not the only electable Democrat. Everyone except Hillary, Bernie, Pete, and Pocahontas are electable Democrats. But nobody is beating Biden in a primary, and rocking the boat with a primary, or by heaving Kamala Harris, is not remotely close to worth the risk.

After the 60s the inmates had enough and took over the asylum. The only effectual muscle-flexing we've seen by the parties in the last 20 years was Klobuchar and Buttigieg both dropping out after Brandon won South Carolina and started to consolidate the non-crazy-Bernie vote. I am not sure what Klobuchar got; Pete B obviously got the Transportation Secretary gig.

All kidding aside.........What risk though? What do democrats have to lose if they Primary Joe Biden? I don't think they have anything at all to lose. It might even be their best hope.
The risk of pissing off the challenger's supporters so they don't vote? The risk of pissing off Biden's supporters for having the nerve to challenge him?

Remember Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, the PUMA thing? Party Unity My Ass?
There were some seriously pissed off middle aged white women.

If you ditch Kamala Harris because she's a political albatross, you risk pissing off the most (D) demographic in the country, black women.

Every single Never Trumper/Democrat I've talked to over 65 gets very offended by the mere suggestion Biden has lost a step. More Seniors support Trump than Biden, but they vote at very high rates. Someone who is 40-something calling Biden a potato will surely keep some of those voters home or send them to Trump's side.

IMHO part of the advantage of incumbency is the person you are running against just got done pissing off part of their base.

I like Biden and I think he has done a pretty decent job, especially in the area of foreign policy where he has rebuilt alliances and restored respect in America from our allies. BUT, he made a colossal mistake picking Kammie as his VP.

He was supposed to be a one-termer, the steady veteran who would restore sanity to the Presidency after 4 years of that menace of a raging lunatic Trump. After his term he should have passed the baton to his heir apparent, the VP. But Kammie is (IMO) unelectable, she's extremely unpopular. I think he made his original decision based on her 5 good minutes in a debate at his expense, plus she is a black woman, which would appease the identity politics crowd, plus she's basically center-left. But it hasn't worked out, and the Dems are stuck and don't have anybody else in the on-deck circle. So Joe is running again, even though he's clearly too old.

Bottom line, if you’re happy and afoaf is happy, I’m happy. It’s your age group that is most affected by this.

You didn’t name any of the electable democrats that you’re speaking of, just who isn’t. I haven’t seen any of the nameless trotted out for the 2024 beauty pageant here on the erBB.

It didn't play out that way. He didn't all of his own just come up with Kamala Harris. It was a corner he painted himself into, publicly, in slow motion.

In the primary, he was the hair-sniffing creep who pal'd around with Segregationists and had his hands uncomfortably close to young female children's nipples in Senate photos when he was Obama's VP.

To shore up support/enthusiasm among he made a promise his VP wouldn't be a white man.

That basically left Loretta Lynch, Susan Rice, Catherine Cortez-Masto, a couple House crackpots like Maxine Waters, Corinne Brown, and The Squad - some of whom weren't even age-eligible, and some people from Georgia like Keisha Lance Bottoms and Stacey Abrams.

Only a couple of those names are remotely plausible for a VP pick. Lynch I don't think even got a call, CCM noped the F out, Susan Rice said something the GOP didn't like on a Sunday show about Benghazi so that was the end of the world at the time, and the only person left standing was Kamala Harris.

I'm not happy until Elizabeth Warren has chopped off all of their heads!
