You can buy packs of makeup remover cloths at Costco or a drug store. Neutrogena and others make them.
They take thick zinc sunscreen off no problem if you can get over your fear that they are laced with estrogen or something because they have the word "makeup" on the packaging.

the raw elements zinc stick works great. The brown one actually blends in pretty well color-wise, lasts all day, and comes off easily with a stridex pad
My organic sun paste comes with a girly makeup mirror in the lid, and I’m man enough to use it.i use the car rearview before heading out, no shame in applying sunscreen correctly

I like Amavara face stick too. Pain to get off before the next meeting tho. 1-2 face wipes required
I tried Salt and Stone lotion. It was pretty good I thought. I found a SunBum stick amongst the high tide line, I thought it might not burn my skin the way the rest of the SunBum sh!t does. WRONG.
I haven't seen Headhunter in Sunrise or other shops in what feels like ages. Been using Neutrogena zinc oxide cream and Neutrogena mineral face stick of late. It's pretty good but I think I like Headhunter better.
Other than it clogs pores like crazy and attracts bugs like nothing else, Desitin is still dank for serious anti-sun.

I found a head hunter stick on Amazon. Looks like what used to be in the tube. I think the stick is the only way to get the old stuff that is illegal in Hawaii.
I had a head hunter stick I loved. I thought that stuff was zinc/titanium oxide and so is exactly what the Hawaiians (and reefs) want, and we are supposed to be avoiding the chemical blockers with oxybenzone and avobenzone and all that other sh!t?
The tube version changed, at least the one i bought over a year ago and can’t find anymore.
the non-tinted used to give me white face but the new reef safe stuff would turn me purple.
I have two tubes of the OG stuff in front of me and it lists octinoxate, octocrylene, octisalate and zinc oxide as active ingredients.
the new stick I just got is just titanium dioxide and zinc oxide
