Haven't seen anyone really talk about grovelers in a while. Wondering what people are liking these days? Been interested in getting a dedicated groveler to make shitty days more exciting. Or for when I gotta take friends out to smaller, softer breaks. I've been making do with my RNF'96 but it's really more of a daily.

I've been eyeing the Pyzel White Tiger, CI Ultra Joe, and Stretch Buzzsaw.

Also been considering the Firewire Twice Baked and Sweet Potato, but not sure if they're gonna be too groveley and clunky.

Isn’t the Super Fling now the Ryan Sakal Soapbox Derby again?
white Tiger looks like a good graveler… but I haven't ridden one, yet.

Ive been digging the Sharpeye Cheatcode but I haven't really tested its extreme low end yet.

It is a bit rockered so I don't expect it will have puddle jumper levels of grovelability.

I have an Ultra Joe. It is pretty flat and grovelly. Its not bad but I cant say it really stands out for me. I think i ordered it a little thin.

My favorite super grovel board for the past couple years has been the Album symphony twin.

I have and really like the sweet potato but that’s probably because my best maneuver is going fast in a straight line with the occasional boggy cutback on mushy waves. :)

Puddle jumper, puddle jumper pro, DHD phoenix, Super fling

pro and phoenix might be what you're after
i have only had my phoenix for a few surfs but in waist and below it is really quick and can be surfed in a real performancy-way. it is an easy transition from my hpsb as a result. i went 1.5 litres above my regular shortboard and run it as a twin plus trailer. note though the pu ones in Oz only come OTR as a tri-fin set-up. i believe they made a swallow version with five plugs if you are a quad guy. i was looking at the white tiger also, but the DHD was on run-out and a great price.
in my experience compared to going for a twin/quad fish the benefit of a hp groveller is easier transition from a hpsb shortboard.

I still want to demo a phoenix. I'm just going off of a friend who loves his and multiple people have told him he surfs really well on it. Looks like there are two dim sets on that board. He has the dims with more grovel.

Aipa Contemporary Fish, Gary Hanel Pill, Pyzel Gremlin, and Lost PJ have been my favorites. If I needed a new groveler I'd probably just grab a Soapbox from Ryan. It fits the right formula. I'm sure Pyzel's white tiger is a fun one also.

I was at Malibu today to help out with a Surfers Healing event and some doo on an Album Symphony twin was absolutely ripping knee-to-waist high First Point. I was really impressed on how well it looked to generate speed and do some pretty tight arcs with some lip tappys thrown in.
