So now that the surfboard making industry seems to be slammed, and complaints are racking up on another thread about finish condition, I ask,

Who is doing the best glassing these days to date?
Where are they located?
What's the cost?( if you brought in a shaped blank from anyone shaper, just for the glass job price)$225?$250?$300?
Give us details!

Like every glasser I've used I help them to be better

Working with Derek of Uslesstoys glassing currently

He loves what I showed him to be able to glass these better and easier

Modfish II is a great board. Fast as hell. Useless Toys glassing is great too. Has a nice flex.

West of the Atlantic. East of the ICW.
My off the rack Lost has been good and I am not careful with boards. The last CI I had dinged if you looked at it wrong.
You've identified the worst glassing I've seen on rack boards.

Regarding glassing of PU/PE boards two things to keep in mind. Its the sanding that usually F-s em up. Also if the blanks are overshaped into softer foam whatever glass you put over the soft foam will be inherently weaker.

Accelerated cure times for high production - more "Units" per day - weakens resin up to 30%

7- 10 cc's of catalyst instead of 30 that some production guys use
