Hey stupid, learn to read. I didn't challenge you to a gunfight you moran.

Another bald faced lie. Prove it.

Try and stay on track here.
How quickly you forget.

I have no intention of engaging with you, it's a waste of time.

not sure if this is true, but it is interesting...

Things weren't quite that clear cut in the 1990s. The United States was a pretty cohesive place in the '90s, and we didn't have leftist nutcases murdering scores of people just so that it would be blamed on evil gun-loving conservatives. That's how congress was able to run to the front of the gun-grab parade. Slick wording though. The rise in mass murder deaths took three years to materialize after the Brady law expired. That doesn't much add up to a cause and effect relationship. As I recall some of the mid-2000s mass murders were perpetrated by angry jihadis .....which has nothing to do with gun laws.

The leftist mass media started leading the gun-grab parade. Now every idiot who wants attention can become instantly famous by killing a bunch of our children.

How do you propose to do that if they weren't supposed to have them in the first place?
It would be more effective if the laws in place were enforced and these people were not able to purchase or own guns.
The mass murders owned their guns legally. Wtf u talkin about?

Did you not read this sentence before responding? "It would be more effective if the laws in place were enforced and these people were not able to purchase or own guns."
Those people had red flags that went ignored. Those red flags should have prevented them from legally purchasing those guns. Had the existing gun laws been enforced, many of these incidents may not have occurred.

The laws in place are inadequate.

I love how he starts this with the equivocation and rationalization...

This is likely 99.01028472112% Bullshit.
god forbid you try looking it up....

Conclusions
We identified five qualifying studies that estimated the effects of state assault weapon bans on different aspects of mass shootings. Gius (2015c) found that these bans significantly reduce mass shooting deaths but have uncertain effects on injuries resulting from mass shootings. Using similar models, however, Gius (2018) found that assault weapon bans resulted in significantly fewer casualties (deaths and nonfatal injuries) from school shootings. Using a data set similar to that used in Gius (2015c), Luca, Malhotra, and Poliquin (2016) found uncertain effects of state assault weapon bans on the annual incidence of mass shootings. Blau, Gorry, and Wade (2016) found that the bans significantly reduced the annual incidence of mass shootings. Webster et al. (2020) found uncertain evidence of state assault weapon bans on mass shooting incidents and fatalities. Considering our assessment of these findings and the relative strengths of these studies, we find inconclusive evidence for the effect of assault weapon bans on mass shootings.

We also identified two studies that examined the effects of high-capacity magazine bans on mass shootings. Webster et al. (2020) found significant or suggestive associations between these state bans and lower rates of mass shooting incidents. Klarevas, Conner, and Hemenway (2019) also found that state-level high-capacity magazine bans were associated with fewer mass shootings and deaths in incidents in which a high-capacity magazine was used, as well as suggestive reductions in all mass shooting incidents and deaths (including those that did not involve a high-capacity magazine). Considering our assessment of these findings and the relative strengths of these studies, we find limited evidence that high-capacity magazine bans reduce mass shootings.

Yes, I want to keep people that are not mentally stable, have a criminal record, cannot exhibit the competency to handle a firearm to not have guns. I don't think it is reasonable to prohibit mentally stable, law abiding citizens from owning guns.
My son is currently on a combo hunting, dirt biking, snowboarding trip in the Eastern Sierras. He loves going out camping and hunting with his friends. Way more healthy than going to the Shanty or the Office, getting hammered and an STD from some random cougar hook up. Why do you want to prevent him from living a healthy life?
