The most corrupt country in Europe had the common decency to realize it was not worthy of nuclear weapons, willingly gave them up, and the UK, US, China, and Russia agreed to respect their territorial integrity and reneged on that.

Right about now if I was Ukrainian I'd be cursing the day my government didn't sell those weapons to Al Qaida/Chechnyans/Uighurs for a can of paint thinner and some new adidas tracksuits.

With a bit of backing the death and destruction, and weapon sales, can be prolonged.

Our tax dollars are supporting the continuing deaths of hundreds of thousands of people so that defense contractors can get even more wealthy and corrupt politicians can launder money. All while supporting actual nazis.

This whole thing is really disgusting and extremely dangerous.
Yeah, it's called war. if it was fun, it would be called fun.

Yeah, it's called war.
Something that liberals used to be against.

Now many who believe themselves to be liberals are all in on this war. It’s weird. People who call everyone to the right of Bill Mahar “nazis” are proudly displaying their support of actual nazis.

Lindsey graham appreciates your obedience.

“That sentiment has fueled calls for more scrutiny of how U.S. assistance is being used in a country known for its struggles with corruption.”
So they do want to track it. thank you.

I have no problem with Ukraine defending itself.

Hungary and Russia are the worst, based on some evaluations

Ukraine is certainly up there

however, the underlying point is that when you "quote" something, you attribute the quote

“Russia has a completely weak army.”

”If we don’t stop Russian army in Ukraine they will take over Europe.”

Doublethink
Doublethink is a process of indoctrination in which subjects are expected to simultaneously accept two conflicting beliefs as truth, often at odds with their own memory or sense of reality. Doublethink is related to, but differs from, hypocrisy. George Orwell coined the term doublethink in his 1949 dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four. In the novel, its origins within the citizenry is unclear; while it could be partly a product of Big Brother's formal brainwashing programs, the novel explicitly shows people learning doublethink and Newspeak due to peer pressure and a desire to "fit in," or gain status within the Party—to be seen as a loyal Party Member. In the novel, for someone to even recognize—let alone mention—any contradiction within the context of the Party line is akin to blasphemy, and could subject that person to disciplinary action and the instant social disapproval of fellow Party Members.
Well Russia's army is not looking too good at the moment, but if they take Ukraine they'll probably rebuild for a couple of years before trying to roll Latvia.

Right. Russia is going to conquer Western Europe but they can't make it across the Dniepr.

Even in its heyday, the USSR was only able to conquer Poland because Germany was invading from the other direction. It conquered Ukraine because Stalin starved 9 million Ukrainians in the Holodomor. It expanded into Western Europe only because of the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian and German empires after WWI and the 30 million people that died on the Eastern front of WWII.

Historically, the Russian empire mostly expanded East into the taiga and steppe where there were only disorganized nomads without the means to defend themselves against modern weapons and logistics, much like their native American haplogroup Q and R1 descendants.

So they’re not starting WW3 after all?
