Triangle of Sadness is fucking great. In theaters now.

I second Triangle of Sadness and add the Banshees of Inisherin.
I've also been watching a crapload of crap on Netflix, Hulu etc. I really dug Dahmer, although all the pearl-clutching was a bit of a drag. Really well done and interesting, as far as that kind of stuff goes.
I'm also enjoying the new season of American Horror Story. I strongly urge all you homophobes to watch it, because it will make your head explode and the world can always use fewer homophobes.

That really hot day (labor day weekend?) went to the theater 2x, mostly for the A/C.
Bullet Train - felt like the same vibe and pace as Snatch and a few of Brad Pitt's other hit movies smashed together. Meh.
Then saw "Elvis". Much better except for Tom Hank's weird character. Maybe I'm missing something.

Saw Bullit Train last weekend.. mindless fun, wasnt expecting much but it did start to drag on a bit.

Really liked Elvis - thought it was a unique movie and yea - Hanks had to grow on me but eventually I came around.

Really looking forward to White Noise, based on the Delillo novel. I think Noah Baumbach will do it right, based on his other films. Just thankful it's not Wes Anderson.
seems like it'd be a challenge to make any of his books into a movie. i'll have to look into this. big fan of delillo.

Elvis trivia, he and my cousin June dated for a year before he joined the Army.

Newest movie/streaming series was called From Scratch. This one really got to me. Sometimes uncomfortable, kinda sad and really wondering what my destiny will be.

I saw a pretty funny porno called, "Blowin' It". It was about a guy who keeps having bad things happen to him over and over, but at the same time finds himself banging a bunch of women. Interesting concept, amazing cinematic work, tons of labia shots.

If you haven't seen the 2017 film "The Florida Project", do yourself a favor and find it streaming somewhere.
