Anybody Done Central Am in Sept, Oct?

I know it varies year by year but is it generally an all day wash out,or just morning evening daily rain?

I spend a week in Nica every Sept, and generally score with far less crowds. Year before last several days were 8-10+, last year almost every day was 6-8.

i think you r sorta nearing the end of the wet season going into October. sand bars will be plentiful. all my central american buddies say October is the best time for waves.

I spent most of a November (2004) in ES and it was friggin amazing

Go...you will score. I try to leave sept/oct open bc I'm on the east coast, but last year they had a bunch of late season swells in Nica with good wind.

Yeah I just park in hatteras for a month...fishing is always on fire at least.

Last of rain season for pacific coast and still a month away from the beginning of rain season on Carribean but things have changed and daily reports from my wifes family say rules no longer apply and could rain any time. Surf that is roll of dice could be epic or flat as lake
