Allowing and ignoring lawlessness, rampant drug dealing, and homelessness in Los Angeles is working out fine.

I love it! Send in the social workers. Make sure they have tourniquets and quick clot!

Not related to the above but a friend of mine and training partner was murdered a couple days ago trying to break up a fight…

That sucks. Sorry man.

I lived in Korea Town for 6 months or so in the mid 90's while going to school. It was awesome. It's a dangerous place at night nowadays.

Put the homeless to work cleaning up LA train tracks where they loot and pillage the sitting rail cars full of goods from LA Harbor.

Put them in housing, but make them earn it by cleaning up the streets and highways.

Is that cruel and unusual punishment to earn your way to a room, bathroom and 3 meal a day?

Let nature run its course for both the voters and the vagrants. They'll reach equilibrium over time.

Probably dropping in on you, California
Hancock park murder like that pretty rare.

Ktown - not so rare. I lived there at one point in the 2000's before it became gentrified. My best friend lives there now. Its way mellower to walk around at night right now then its ever been. Sorry for the loss of your friend.

What if they don't want to? Force them?

What would you do with the homeless?
Put the vast majority who are addicts/mentally into mental health facilities (yes, by force if needed).

Anyone living outside in an urban environment is danger to themselves and others. No laws need to be changed to do this.

Instead of building housing the money should go to mental health facilities and care.

Letting these people live and die in the street is cruel.
