Can confirm adding thicc to your twinsman boosts the lower end. Rode it in head high choppy windswell and it went great.
What’s scoop on darkness twin? Also that Jesse Guggenheim guy can surf that sunstone really well.

Do you consider head high to be lower end? I've been surfing my twinsman in thigh high Florida wind chop with decent enough results (definitely better on a wave with some form and room to run, but what board isn't?). I went thinner than stock (relatively tall for my weight). I feel like more volume would make it more difficult to pump and adjust in the small, choppy stuff we get here.
When I say head high, I mean the sets are head high but I’m catching waist high waves too. Adding thickness hasn’t hindered performance in my opinion.
