fren I serf with everyday came over for a couple of garage beers. he can't even keep track of what I have. Showed him oestes twinsman and liked it. he told me I have problems and I said you have no idea. I'm low to mid tier on the erBB!

TMST is getting wet tomorrow.... I hope
My friends don’t get my board hoardin ways. They just don’t get you need at least three different grovelers just in case. That’s why we have this place.

So, after this long, how does one explain the company charging the highest prices in the industry (other than Ellis Ericson, who to be fair is hotwiring EPS for edge boards) also has some of the worst quality control?

Looking at their website it appears they're still using you-know-who to glass most of their stuff with select boards being done at Waterman's Guild.

So no change there.

Roundtail Twinsman is $250 less than the Twinsman. Must not work as well?

Does anyone know where Rob Brown is glassing these days?

first session on oeste's twinsman. Damn, it friggen rips. less twin related quarks with this board and surfs really solid like a hpsb. pretty much plug and play and didn't take any time to get used to it. The rails didn't bother me like that type of rail normally does.

So far a really good board. Really good.

I didnt like the roundtail. Think it was the narrowness of the tail in the last 1/3. I might like the swallow tail, but that's an expensive experiment.

I would love a roundtail with either less thickness or normal rails. felt like too much swing weight up front but the rest of the board was awazing. The swallowtail is a completely different board IMO

Hey at least we got that Yuri x boardporn x Matt Parker YouTube review from your sacrifice!

Having ridden a couple of your boars, I think you might really like the swallowtail.
My 6’1 roundpin paddles/rides bigger than it’s size, and is a great SoCal mini-stap… it likes a big open face to carve. It’s very different to the 5’10 swallowtail (which surfs like a medium to high perf. shortboard), IMHO. For me, they complement each other, and basically, I’d switch from ST to RP once it gets HH+.

Great board and I agree that that it can perform as well as many HPSB’s, but IMO, just like a HPSB, it does not perform well in sub waist high waves despite its chonk.

My 5’8 NB2 gets grabbed much more than my 5’6 TM, despite being a liter and a half less volume since it can grovel much better. They’re both Varial.

@ChaseTMP I find hp boards harder to revirw honestly bc I have so mucb more energy on a new board during the honeymoon.

few months in of subconscious trying hard and I realize jsut want an easy sesh with some quality turns and sections I didn’t blow thereafter.
