Open bar the whole time. Open buffet lunch and dinner. Free ebikes. Wetsuits, full firewire quiver. Free redbull, celsius, coffee, dessert, fruit, snacks, sheeeet they brought us out coconut water mid session with the jetski. Amazing experience.

We got there at 10am and left at 930pm after cheering on the staff's night session from the control tower smoking joints and drinking margs, beers and mules. They really did not care what we did. We made a giant fire in the pit and had smores too.

I only wish the wave was a touch bigger, I'm 6'1 and 195 and it felt a little snug at times. I don't think they could make the wave a lot bigger though because people would be getting murdered. A few in my crew got worked and hit the bottom.

Sheesh, that sounds amazing. I tried to weasel in a "site visit" there to "help" KS Wave Co with some issues they were having in the early days of the pool related to the redish brown color but they saw right through us.

had a recruiter reach out in their early days. was like a month or two after the big PR release and Kelly’s first video of it.

i really liked my job at the time and blew him off bc of how secretive they were in the JD and thought of moving to central cal as a single male in their early 30s was a non starter.

now married I’m like, shoots. i think I missed out on a payday and more than a few epic waves

we were all pretty fcking zooted at this point. Screaming obscenities at the staff on their night waves. They were laughing and said most people leave after they surf, not hangout for another 4 hours. After this photo We made a little dirt jump behind the control tower and launched our ebikes while screaming like little kids. Then one of my buddies almost crashed into the other lake so we thought we better wrap it up. Went back to fire pit and made s’mores. We are all dads or new dads so it felt like we were 12 years old all day. Also no masks, no signs, no vax card, no sanitizer anywhere, regardless of your stance on that (I’m pro all of it), it was nice to feel like 2019 again.

Plasmic EAST vs. Twinsman. Both 5'9.5" deck side measurement. Plasmic has more rocker which I didnt expect. Plasmic fin boxes are further back. Plasmic carries a little more thickness in the tail and much more thickness up front. Havent gotten nose/tail width numbers yet but i think the Plasmic is a little wider @12". Love the Plasmic, its been my go to smaller wave/mushy wave board for the past couple months.20220223_133745.jpg
