I'm 6' and ride a 5'5".

My shortboard volume is 31-32 liters. My plasmic is around 35 liters, i think

hmmm i do have said Rasta keel and a plethora of slopey waves to test on…

but I’ll probs just end up riding my plasmic in those situations instead.
Before I got my plasmic, i was using my lightbender as a one board quiver in north county. It goes pretty good in small waves with the christenson keels.

Now I just ride my plasmic in those conditions, but I had a ton of fun with that setup.

Question... how much shorter is your plasmic in comparison to your height?

Edit: And how much "more" volume is it compared to your normal boards.
I’m 6’1, riding a 5’5 with the width and thickness of the 5’4, so I guess right around 33L.

my “normal“ boards are around 29.5-31.5, with a fred rubble in the middle @30.5L for reference.

I’m 6’2 - 205 and ride a 5’6 (stock dims) - 34 liters. The only “normal” HPSB I have is a CI Fever that is 6’3 - 34 liters

Even though I’m a couple weeks out from getting my mid length twin from Mr Ryan Sakal…this thread is convincing me that I also need to get ahold of a plasmic as well.

C’mon @ReForest. Do it!
:poke:
yep! that's the one i was looking at. A friend of mine ordered that. He said it was too much volume. Too buoyant. Im wondering if i should give it a go, but 5'0 and 19 seems too short and wide? But judging by some of the other peoples boards it might be perfect.

What do you peeps think of the 6'2 Lightbender (winged for her pleasure)?
I''ve been enjoying the longer, stretched out fish lately. The Gibbons and Townsend (i know, not a fish) kinda opened my eyes a bit.
I feel like they smooth out my surfing a bunch.

Would you put a pad on a board like this? Looks pretty ill the without.
Creatures fanning Pad with dank bolts would be fire. Would make a fast boar even faster! LOL
Seriously, don’t overthink it, just pull the trigger. You know these things have resale value if it doesn’t work for you. Plasmic is supposed to be short n chunky- don’t stress over the width.

so u duu's with album twins, does the vector net stuff over the fin boxes make it stronger? or pizza box stained patches better?
Just get the pizzabox stains and stop trying to be special:trout:

Changed the fins on my 7'2 and now have been having experiences on her that many will never have, we are both very pleased.
Some random kid told me the other day while out in the water, 'that board looks like it goes really good. What is it?' (I have the lams blacked out) 'How much? How much?'
I ask, what?
How much for what? 'I want it, he says. I just paddled away:roflmao:
