Hey, they are fun boards, really fast, and because of their speed, they have a cool glide. They have very low rockers, so they will catch waves easily. You will definitely shoot you down the wave in bigger surf. Sometimes, I can feel the flatness when pushing sharper turns. They are the fastest boards that I own. It is an Album model that I really like.
I have three sizes: 6' 8", 6' 0", and 5' 6". I recommend the 6' 0" to get the most of out the model. The 6' 8" can be too fast, learned not to take it in too big of a surf. For example, the 6' 10" Plasmid had a lot of hold and could handle large waves. It never works out well for me taking the 6' 8" in similar conditions.
However, the 6' 0" can work in smaller and bigger surf. It is good for more drawn-out turns but can be pushed for sharper turns in smaller waves.
Mine is 6'0"x 19.75"x 2.5"; I kind of wish it was narrower. I can see why Asher may like the swallowtail for some hold.
I also have 5' 6", which is like chunky mini-simmons, a fish alternative. I like it a lot and grabbed a bunch for smaller waves, and it can handle some size.
I feel the beauty of this board is in the 6' 0" range!
