Point being, if I were to get a thruster I’d get one from someone other than Album.Saves 500 bucks too
Pyzalien 2 or highline would be the call for me i think. Actually have a 5'10" highlinePoint being, if I were to get a thruster I’d get one from someone other than Album.
@EastCoastBrah P2 is great. For smaller / crappier, I’d go GremlinPyzalien 2 or highline would be the call for me i think. Actually have a 5'10" highline

honestly looks too performance oriented for the surf im talking aboutYeah. It’s called a Channel Islands Happy Every Day.
always seemed to work fine for me. have had some quads for the crappy surf in the past.. but i just like the seamless transition of always being on a thruster. i feel like there's a small adjustment period for the first part of the session if you hop back and forth between quad and thruster. I offset the anchor with a little extra paddling power - then once you are up and riding it's fine. Feel like the trailer fin as an anchor is possibly a mental thing. You are not going to see many west coast grovelers (east coast daily drivers) that are thrusters for a good reason..unless you are pretty lightfooted that center fin tends be a bit of an anchor imo...
Perhaps a gmm2, 5’8 could work…always seemed to work fine for me. have had some quads for the crappy surf in the past.. but i just like the seamless transition of always being on a thruster. i feel like there's a small adjustment period for the first part of the session if you hop back and forth between quad and thruster. I like the look of this. DA never appealed to me but the shape looks nice.if you're willing to pay the Album price point but want a wide tail thruster for groveling, I'd go with a Dark Arts Dad Bod. will also handle punchier
