They were installed by the non-winning, unpopular, non-representative political manipulators set on deregulating business and regulating workers. They shouldn't be. They embody political corruption

I agree with your hunch that America's future is less secure than it was, and that these signifigant SCOTUS rulings could be indicators that the powers that be see the same thing. However, I disagree with your assessment that this Supreme Court reversing activist policies and rulings is itself, activist. It's not. It's anti-activist.
Well that's weird because this is exactly the opposite of what you've said when the SCOTUS legalized gay marriage.

What changed your mind?

Note, the Constitution has absolutely nothing to say about killing the unborn and reiterating this is far from extreme.
The Constitution was written by a bunch of old men, 150 years before women in this country were even allowed to vote, let alone have a say about reproductive rights.

At least you correctly called fetus an unborn this time, instead of child. Baby steps.

Those old men deliberately made the SCOTUS so it existed outside the realm of the shifts and sways of public opinion.

Just wait until Moore v. Harper is decided. It will determine if state courts can review legislatures' handling of federal elections. Stay tuned...
This is probably the most concerning case of them all....in my eyes this could have farrrrrrr more dramatic and lasting effects on the country, and could ruin any chance of reinstating RvW.

Be careful what you ask for.

Obviously this court made an about face between ruling on gay marriage and ruling on abortion. The 10th Amendmment should have prevailed in both decisions. Gay marriage is not covered in the Constitution. Therefore the decision belongs with states, just like abortion. The gay marriage decision was indeed "activist":. Like Clarence Thomas said, it should be revisited.

The constitution is not extreme.
Overrulling a 50 yr precedent and status quo that the majority of the population was in favor of. In some states abortion was legal one day, illegal the next. Clinics closing, people being turned away. However you feel about it I think extreme is a fair description.

The ruling will reverberate through the entire system creating so much carnage to an already stressed system.

This is just shitty decision making at work due to feelings.
