I had a bunch of classmates whose family members did not come home. One girl in my class I will not forget her bursting into tears inexplicably (at the time).

My cousin works in an office building in Jersey City and after the first plane hit they all gathered at the windows wondering why the tower was burning. They were all watching from across the river when the second plane hit. Her husband worked near the WTC in Lower Manhattan and was one of the people who walked across the Brooklyn bridge to get out of the city in the chaos. It was hours before she was able to get in touch with her husband.
So a general question, where on the internet do y'all, as surfers, go to discuss politics with other surfers now?
