Yup. It was a last minute thing. Rafa said just come down and lets surf. Was Jaime booked?
fuck volaris.. they charge 150 each way for boards. on the way back from el sal last year they never put my boards on the plane. no communication available in english whatso ever, no comepensation and in the end it was LAX lost and found who tracked my boards, got them back to the states and dropped them off at my home almost 2 weeks later.Volaris aren't taintbags about boardbags?
I'd always heard they were an airline of choice for people with boards stashed in Mainland Mex who are doing the Otay Mesa cross on foot/domestic flight from TJ routine with just a bookbag, but when I looked at them once, the boardbag policy seemed a bit much.fuck volaris.. they charge 150 each way for boards. on the way back from el sal last year they never put my boards on the plane. no communication available in english whatso ever, no comepensation and in the end it was LAX lost and found who tracked my boards, got them back to the states and dropped them off at my home almost 2 weeks later.

That’s what one of my neighbors does twice a month for a week at a time. I have 5 or 6 friends boards in the storage room.I'd always heard they were an airline of choice for people with boards stashed in Mainland Mex who are doing the Otay Mesa cross on foot/domestic flight from TJ routine with just a bookbag, but when I looked at them once, the boardbag policy seemed a bit much.
4 of us just did the same, as we've done the past 5 or 6 years now to Zih.I just paid $80 each way on my July trip.
Josh Hall?So funny hearing people bring up Cartel stuff. Its like a straight guy worried about a gay guy hitting on them.
You know who holds down Scorpion Bay ? Yep....
...if youre going off topic then no not JH and more Mabile. Although JH did marry into the family that have been and trying to ruin SJ more and moreJosh Hall?
It's rarely ever under head high during those time frames. Fast heavy wave. Good barrels off the top, speedy wall into closeout section inside. Better overall quality waves down the coast. You'll be over Mojon after 2 days, as will your boards if they're still intact. Is the surf consistent and good enough at Mojon in the Spring and Fall, enough to stay there? I don't really give a shite about anything other than decent near by surf, great food and a nice beach to hang out at without the need of a car rental. The Hotel Hotel Mojón looks decent?
Wow, yes that does look heavy. The time I'd likely go would likely be in March, April or November, which looks like the tail ends of the S swell season? When it's smaller is there a decent beach break on the sand bars at El Mojon or is it just a close out or shore break? The appeal of staying there is that apparently you need to stay there or have a guide to surf as opposed to La Bocana or Barra De La Cruz, where I'd also like to visit for surf. It's rarely ever under head high during those time frames. First 6 minutes of the vid below is Mojon. Last 5 minutes is the heavier wave up around the Mojon headland. Volume is your friend. Enjoy amigo!
Our crew hit up Mojon, Majagual, The lighthouse last September and it was head high every day. Not barreling like in the video with Torren, swell was mixed up, but still hot water, mellow and friendly locals, plenty of waves to do whatever you wanted except get long draining tubes. We were hoping for it to be like in that video, fun, but not like that. Hardly anyone around though so well worth it from that perspective.Wow, yes that does look heavy. Where else would you suggest staying otherwise where I can surf? ... if there are more "have to be staying there to surf" breaks... Seems like most of the Huatulco and Salina Cruz coast is local or guide only access.
