Backhoe blew a hydraulic line at 50% cleaning the lagoon behind the house

:banghead: :censored:

Otherwise we're pretty well prepared.

Alberto pissed a bunch of rain down on us and a fair bit of the rest of the Eastern US. Kick-started the monsoon season with all the moisture to cook up during the day imo.

It's been hot hot hot for a couple of weeks, normal for late May/early June. Rain before mid June, when the sun comes out you can see the steam rising. Miserable hot then.

Hope for the best, plan for the worst.

That thing could make waves way up into the sea of cortez, como no?

That must be a kick to surf those desolate points way up there that rarely break.

Sadly some crap winds that will accompany the southeastly swell-if there is any-system 1 appears to have been downgraded.

Alberto was a dud sojersey-wise.

Come on "B" storm...
I only got wet once and seemed to have a gift for it being juuuuuuuuust a hair too sheety to want to surf the rest of the time, but I generally appreciate wind and rain in Florida, especially from May to October.

i surfed at home for the first time in ages on Monday afternoon. Me and a buddy had this little sand bar all to ourselves behind my house, some of the most fun I've had on waist high waves in ages. Just enough punch for the short board, lined up, steep east swell bending across the bar

^ Looks comfortable though. Cloud and breezy.
Until the sun comes out. Then hot. And buggy. Not good battery charging conditions.
