Monday morning, another work week, smokey and no wind or waves in the near future. In other words, I am bored. So here's the new wingfoil board I recently made. 5x23x5.5. 70L ish. Roughly a copy of Fanatic SkyWing. Two recycled blanks glued together.

Massive relief on the first knee start, knowing it floats me. Feels like my surf foil once up, really stoked to get it into the surf.

I like the board Juan! I'm in search for a new winging board, as I'm currently using a 7'0 sup foil board that had the tail cut off, so it's 5'9 now, but it's still way to big for wave riding. Since boards like this are hard to find, think I'm gonna just make my own with my buddy. Anything you'd change? I'm thinking a lil shorter 4'8-4'10ish, and maybe a bit wider. How are the knee starts? Pretty easy?

I'm only into it for 3 or 4 sessions and no waves yet. But so far its excellent. Knee starts are surprisingly easy, compared to the 5.9x22.3 board I was experimenting with. Couldn't balance...the extra thickness clearly matters. Though not as easy as 6.8 sup foil of course.

Right now I don't think I'd change anything. Seems perfect. I suspect I will be making one or two more for buddies soon lol. The problem is finding thick enough foam. May be time to buy another billet.
