I know it’s bad when I start bargaining with God to let me out of this situation, and promising to be more careful…but yeah- always when you mis-time the valley of death between bars. The Great Unbiased Wetsuit Review Thread
Went w/ a new 4/3 hooded X10D for winter, and have a half dozen surfs in it so far. I really like the quality and the fit- feels great on. Very light, and dries fast too. But the hood opening is tight. Uncomfortably so. I’m stretching the crap out of it by hand hoping it will loosen up...- Mandudebro

Mid-day today was kinda fun w/ the long period south swell running. No kite needed. The sand is so jacked though. I’m a big fan/belieber in magnatraction for edge hold on hard snow. That said, I was suprised by the edge hold of the BSOD. Maybe something to do with the Capita ‘death grip’? It definitely can handle speed and is stable through variable snow. Very predictable, allows for various types if turns, surprisingly good edge hold, good pop, stable on landings…just a really nice all around boar. To be fair, I don’t love it in pow. Yes. Riding one this year after many many years on Lib’s. I really like it. Feels good to be back on a more traditional camber board vs. rocker b/w inserts. Super well made. Thinking about a blackbird in that size range for OBSF. Is yours stock? They seem a little wide?..although the width gives it some outline curve, which I’d think would make it want to turn more than my 6’9” and 8’0” G$II, both of which are 19.68” and 20.25” and pretty straight railed.
