This is a soft diamond tail inspired by @ghostshaper Jobson I'll go into all the gory details later The glasser doesn't drink ;) and he'll do whatever I tell him.

I made a plug to fit in my Fusion jig, blanking off one side. For me it's esthetics, I like the look of a single plug. I make canards with the tab/tang in different position to adjust the canard

    Edge Boards (Andreini/Greenough)

I may have mentioned this before, but when I spoke with Mike Wallace (@surf_iconoclast on IG)about edge boards and Ellis at the Boardroom, he told me edge boards are very trackie using multi-fin and theorized that these boards evolved due to this. Ellis obviously makes more traditional single fin...

It's was Charles' originally (@Dudebro's when I got a hold of it) I made my own version of it. Kind of a quad fishy outline, bevel rail, double concave nose to tail (iirc) I don't know if it came with those weird fin sets or not. I'd have to look but I think they were set @8 3/8" and closer to...

@Bluehorn imo you are on the right track. I set fins on a 6-2 old man HPSB at 6 3/4" I use a Griffin template scaled up to 5 3/8"H x 5 1/8"B this achieves a more drivey thruster like feel, only faster and without the need to pump as much for speed. On a my 6-5 at set at 7" and my 6-8 at 7 1/2"

As spoken about by @ghostshaper there is a lot of load on the canards, the half Fusions (shout to Barry) a far less prone to cracking imo

I also experimented traditional slots, channels and concaves. For me, even thou aesthetically I prefer the traditional Jobson slot out the tail I stopped doing them to simplify construction as I didn't feel enough of a difference to warrant the additional work required

    Twinzer Feedback?

I have ridden twinzers exclusively from the last 7 years. During my early exploration I experimented with fin size and placement to achieve a desired feel, this was the driver in to fin making. Ultimately I ended up making my own boards using shape3d to control all the variables. Some riders are...

For your first I would line up the leading edge of main with trailing edge of canard. Roughly 1 1/8” gap/slot between. I like 9* of cant but you can match if you like

Leash Plugs - Regular vs. Goofy

If the plug is in the center would the board come back to you a little "straighter" for what it's intended purpose ? left as right is about as senseless as a traction pad causing drag

@claw87 When you repair them it's pretty easy to see what's happening. There are different densities of foam, to keep boards light. There are trade offs of this. I'm guilty of using light foam and delt this the consequences.I just got a 2# eps from Millennium and was shocked by how much more...
