    We are staying at Puerto Sandino Surf Resort. So far Colin has been great to communicate with and pics of the place look beautiful. Been to Costa Rica but this is my first time to Nicaragua and I'm pretty excited.

    Some of my friends have traded out their treble hooks for in line circle hooks and say they don't see a difference in the hookup ratio. I should follow their lead cause treble hooks are the devil.

    Couple years ago I was throwing a Skiiterwalk with the stoke hooks on them. Had a nice redfish blowup and lost it during the fight. Threw back to same place and another one nailed it and same thing, fish came off during the fight. Then i looked at the lure and noticed a bent hook on the front...

    Same. Topwater lures are the worst. Mirrolure topwater biats are the only one's I've found that can hold up to a redfish straight out of the box. I prefer the Skitterwalk but have learned my lesson to never use it until I have replaced the hooks with 4x strong hooks.
