I think the comps are mostly untaped versions of the same suits.

7 seas are like need essentials or volcom suits. They’re ok but nothing special. High seas have some stretchier rubber. North seas (never tried) seem to have rubber seams (which I generally avoid)

    Board choice for Ericeira?

Have not surfed that wave much. Mushy but still requires some paddling. For the other waves, maybe the happy but probably more of a slight step up. It doesn’t necessarily need a ton of swell to start pumping.

    Your current two board quiver

2 bort quiver would be a 6’0” stock pyzalien 2 and a 6’4” Bulkley step up. I have small wave boards but they’re almost interchangeable and not 100% needed.

Have a zipperless 4/3 vissla high seas (but not the version 2). It is super comfortable and flexy. Only negative is how heavy it gets when wet. My wet 4/3 vissla is probably the same weight as my wet 6/4 feral.

    *** Official Fin Thread ***

If I want to add a bit of lift and looseness to a step-up - should I go with bigger or smaller fins? Currently have some medium "control" fiberglass fins in there. The board design already feels pretty locked in with a good amount of v through the bottom. Wanted to add a little spark when it's...

I’ve only used it once but the srface 5/4/3 feels really good. It was $285 on sale, Yamamoto rubber - feels much better than other suits in that price range. Super comfortable. I would’ve gotten another feral but it seems like they’re out of winter suits this winter

    Best Semi-Cheater HP Boar

Hoping my new pyzalien II works. I don't need a ton of low-end for this board - just want an easy to ride all-around board.

    Black Friday 2022

Volcom wetsuits are pretty damn similar to the basic needs suits, without the smoothie panel. It's ok but not the best. If you lived in socal and wanted a 4/3 hooded suit for some chilly days it would be perfect. For NE, I'd prefer something else.
