What political positions do liberals espouse that are controversial?

Reparations for sure.

No longer relevant but defund the police.

Murder charges for subway killer.

The Democratic Party likes big government and making laws they like.
The Republican Party likes big government and making laws they like.

"There oughtta be a law!"

That is the bottom line.
Did Republicans make any laws when Trump was in office?

I wonder what percentage of Democrats think that "reparations" is a feasible idea in any way. Couldn't be very many. I just don't see how we could implement or administer any plan that was developed.

You love laws.

You love authority.

It's one of the reasons you hate libertarians - you are scared of less laws.

right leaning says the easiest way is not always the best way.

"just give in" vs "resist giving in"
wat?

"Easiest way"? That doesn't make any sense.

The easiest way would be to ban things and be against new things. Stagnation is the best but going backwards is even better - which is always right's biggest and only goal.
Not actual progress of any kind.

From the environment and banning books to EVs and abortion, always pick the easiest way = backwards.

The Republican Party is just one example of right leaning (you showed know this as you love to whine about the anti-authority lawless viewpoints of libertarians).

Authority figures are the cornerstone of Democratic Party politics.
Calling democratic rules and laws "authoritarian" is a classic libertarian man-baby pearl clutch.

WHY CANT I DO WHATEVER I WANT???!!!
