It's always WWII but never WWI, the Spanish-American War or any of the others except the Revolution (Jan 6th).
WW2 was basically the event that changed the world more than any other in the last 2 centuries. The demise of the British empire and the collapse of the Soviet Union coming in distant 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

All wars since WW2 haven't really changed that much, geopolitically.

The US government has purchased a significant supply of radiation-injury drugs as the Russian president threatened the use of nuclear weapons.

A $290 million procurement of the drug Nplate, to treat acute radiation syndrome (ARS), was announced by the US Health and Human Services (HSS).

The government confirmed it was the first purchase of the drug, manufactured by the California pharmaceutical company Amgen.

The purchase comes after Vladimir Putin renewed his threat of nuclear war. In a speech last month he vowed to use “all the means at our disposal” to protect Russia and its people. “This is not a bluff,” he said.

The US government said the procurement of Nplate was not in response to the war in Ukraine.

An HSS spokesman told The Telegraph: “This is part of our ongoing work for preparedness and radiological security. It has not been accelerated by the situation in Ukraine.”

If it happens, it was still worth fighting Russia in the Ukraine rather than just signing a treaty of Ukrainian neutrality ;)

Imagine if they didn't but ended up needing it.

Imagine blaming the US for Russia's use of nukes after it invaded Ukraine.
This is how delusional he is. The United Sates is the worlds largest insane asylum and the Republican party keeps egging it on for votes, power and profit.

I'm not really sure I want to hang around if we end up needing it.
The fallout is going to kill people much more widely but slowly than the blasts. Some will dig fallout shelters, most won't. If you won't, you will probably die much more slowly and painfully.

Many people have been warning of this escalatory spiral seen in so many other wars. This time, we're playing "Guns of August" with nukes.

Vlad didn't invade Ukraine just to get a neutrality treaty signed, FYI. He wanted to take over the country, install his own puppet government, and rename the place the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. It was just a step in his ultimate goal of rebuilding the USSR and the glory days of the Cold War.

I trip on the people who think Putin is a good faith operator.

Do some research, retards.

There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.
