I think the omicron is a result of the species adapting to the virus. Which was always going to be what saves us.

I don't get why you guys are not stocked?

We are reaching the light at the end of the tunnel. :dancing:

Have you read Young Goodman Browne?

It's fiction.

Can a species adapt after less than 2 years?
If a person wasn’t exposed to it in the last year, would they adapt?
Maybe the virus changed
I don’t know
I’m sure others are absolutely 100+% sure they have all the answers and will be happy to share

Viruses evolve very quickly.

Still prancing around that talking point that’s been embarrassingly disproven multiple times I see.
We’re talking about Omnicon here.

Don‘t you understand what this means?

Omnicon is so mild you can’t tell it from the common cold.

Why does good news bother you?

Nothing about this bothers me. The virus is taking the expected path.

but most sources still are unsure about its effects on the vulnerable like the elderly due to most infections being in the under 40 bracket.

it’s still best to err on the side of caution with those who are most at risk with this being a relatively new variant and still requiring some hospitalizations.

it’s just common sense.

When looking at actual cases all sources are finding it to be very mild. But all of the speculative beard scratchers are saying “but it could be blah blah blah….”

Once again real data doesn’t match the narrative.

Our cautiousness has far exceeded any modicum of common sense.
