A local surfer told me, don't ever to to Indo, it will ruin surfing for you. Not sure I agree but I see his point.

Our wave standards are so low that a B-grade day in Indo is better than the best day in history here.,

Yep, although I assume remote teaching 6 year olds looks WAY different than what you do. Last week of instruction

Yep. As long as I have internet, I can do. Can put together packets for kids, get them printed and sent to school location, and hold WebEx mtgs/classes/etc. as required.

Indo still good - domestic flights open and large swell on the way - up to Sumatra for some big TUBES
Tell my kid all the time - most important turn in surfing is the bottom turn - that is her in the whitewash watching
COVID -real or not- is the gift that keeps on giving - empty Indo and on line teaching until Sept at the earliest -

I have created a monster - she got ran over at ulu a few days before the hell trip up to nias and ripped her leg bad - wasnt there and got a call from someone saying she had been
hurt - people helped her heaps
carried her up bandaged up the leg and slapped the guy who ran her over

all good now - biggest swell of season on its way
hopefully winds are good
