where's the basket from again?

does it pop on and off?

I want to get out and shoot proper. the cell is garbage for video and in low light
Most common way to attach is zip ties. Not exactly a quick release but quick enough.
You do need a rack though. (it won't fit Endurace, if that's what you're thinking)

I have an almost mint 1974 Schwinn Le Tour

Steel, center pull brakes, 27" wheels etc.

It occurred to me that if I could find cyclecross tires in 27" it might be kind of cool.

Internal rust not a concern with those old frames?
Not in California.

I restored and old orange Schwinn LeTour. It still had a CA registration sticker when I picked it up.
I made it a single speed but it had 700c wheels.

@GWS check the chainstays for tire clearance before you pull the trigger on the CX tires.
70s were the era of skinny tires.

ask him why he rides so slow....

also, needs a bigger posse for a proper youtube channel

He's crushing me and every other adult on the big climb. Even the 11-yr-old is able to keep up on the climb. I'm trying not to go too far over my 175 max hr, but they have about 30-something more beats than I.

The 13 -yr old can pretty much keep up on the downhill now, since quarantine. They progress at an exponential rate.

One of my co-workers rides has been riding his bike to work for the past few decades because of his general fear of catching something on public transit.

I want to ride Whitney Portal and Horseshoe Meadows in one day.
Are you allowed to cycle there? I hiked from Horseshoe meadows to the forks of the kern, through volcano meadow (epic), dropping into Kern canyon (epic), Little Kern lake area, Kern Flat. Best backpacking trip of my life. I'd do it again in a heartbeat but need to find another "trail angel' for a ride from my car at the end point to horseshoe.

Road/potential dirt road ride. Not mountain biking.

Was thinking about spending a week or two out there this summer and ticking off all of these climbs, but maybe just the one-way climb and have somebody shuttle the vehicle to the top.
