After a few hiccups my Album Asym arrived today. It was on its way last night when news came out 6 baggage handlers tested positive for the corona at the local airport so the flight was diverted back. Doesn’t surprise me with all the back and forth and changing of hands it’s arrived with some damage
. Oh well first ding is always the worst so at least I’ve got that over and done with.
Nice bonus was a set of asym fins thrown in.

I posted on the community surf journal thread that Wade is making me a 5’10 X2 which is the board I’ve been riding since March. This time I asked for a thumb tail.
HIC owes me two boards for some work I did for them earlier in the year. My sister said they are going to start making boards after a stoppage due to Covid-19. She’s bringing me the order forms tomorrow.
Gonna order a 5’10 Mojo.
And a 6’0 M7 for when head high waves are steep and hollow.

Josh Moniz is my favorite local pro to watch right now. He's so smooth but then does crazy airs and big turns.
I surf with the Moniz’s Uncle Kirby almost daily. Kirby told us Seth, Josh and Zeke was recently at the Waco wave pool and Seth did an air they don’t even have a name for. Kirby told Tony they should sit on the clip and release it next time Kelly wants to get attention on his wave pool. Haha.
Seth is rad too (and both of them are the nicest guys), but to me Josh just looks more polished and smoother.
Yep. Josh and Seth are the younger brothers. Super nice, super respectful. Being the younger brothers it’s amusing to see the older brothers Micah and Isaiah paddle around them and hassle them for waves. Even their older friends do that to them. Part of being raised to respect your elders.
I pulled the trigger on the McLoud 70's Single Fin, it might get here in about 4-6 weeks. Already bought the fin for it.
