Am I the only one who thinks this thing looks pretty difficult to surf?

Sh*t didn’t mean it in a disrespectful way. It would be great if my boards have custom made fins. But there is a thoughtful process on fin selection working with my shaper for each board I order. And not a post here asking what fins for this model. (That part was meant disrespectfully) haha.

This your view of these posts and not my message

" I just find it odd that you post that "things could be so much better" on other shapers/boards threads."

This New Fishbeard is in the same catagory as my Modern Fish Keel that I have made for several years .

Its harmless to show this . Barry has done the same .

Nothing negative was said other than from my family of trolls .

Is your name kristoff and do u harvest ice for a living?

all good griff no one is trolling you despite what you think.
This post had a negative comment towards the board at the start - title

Many here have learned enough to disscuss what may be causing this obseveration .

Those Pros ripped on it , just like Noel would .

So possibly thats why there were no design comments or responses to all that was said in the video .

Started to make 19 fins for this 3 board order to be picked up today
My belt sander grabbed my thumb and butchered it friday morning , so now pick is next week painfully making them .

Yep No shaper will ever do this - I'm a Dummy ;-)

Minami made me a twin a few years ago and asked me what fins I planned on riding and placed the boxes according to those fins (Future AMT's).

I think it looks pretty fun. Patty G and Sage's boards looked like they're stringer-less, wonder if they were Varial? I mentioned in another Fishbeard thread that a local guy who surfs really well and who works at a local shop loves his FB. He was a JS rep and had a Black Baron months before they were officially released and has a performance step-up twin from a Hermosa shaper, Dan Cobley, so he's not new to twins despite being young (mid 20's?) and says the FB is one of the most fun boards he's ever ridden.

There's a recent video snippet of Britt and Parker getting suited up in Northern California and the camera pans to Britt's board that is a rounded pin twin that looked a lot like the Stacey Bullet Twin. I had Dan Cobley use the Stacey as jumping off point for my soon to be ready new board (looks like it's getting glassed tomorrow or Tuesday). CI had a FB/Mid-length event at Proof Lab in Mill Valley where they also carry Stacey's designs. I wonder if Britt took any cues from the Bullet Twin on the board he's filmed with?

I dont make Free Boards - even for bordporn
Ok, so GG doesn't give away boards for free.....I respect that.

What if we were to start a GoFundMe and collectively buy a GG 3-4 fin hpsb in Noel's specified dimensions to give to him* for review?

*Upon completion of his review, Noel Salas shall promptly transfer ownership of the 3-4 fin hpsb to jkb and jkb shall retain ownership of said board in perpetuity. By donating money to the GoFundMe account, each erBB member acknowledges that the above statement is legally binding.

...will NEVER happen

Plus wouldn't have to give away for FREE. Build one, gets reviewed, then sold. Demo programs work all over....

I tried to get the ball rolling on this - a 5 fin.

I had talked to Noel.

Griff said he thought he should review a twin instead. Didn't seem interested really.

A twin is a bit less exciting IMO - the 5 fin is the GG special.

But if you want to start a GoFundMe I'd gladly contribute.
