Rough numbers - 8.3 mil at 5% is 33K a month. It says he rented it for 60K a month so figure 30 to 50% occupancy it's basically paying its way more or less. But rentals of less than 90 days are going out of style in Hawaii in law and popular acceptance so now's probably a good time to sidestep...- PJ

I remember our funny pre-internet behavior when someone brought a TV in to work so we could tune in to the trial verdict. It was just lik when the nuns in catholic school would allow a TV in our classroom for important events like spaceship launches and the World Series.- PJ

WTF with parents going on Spring Break with their kids?
In an Exxon where I worked around 1979 one of the customers liberated a water cooler and an empty 5 gallon water container from a construction trailer and gave it to us for the fromt office. I used to fill it up from the big black water hose in the service bay. The cutomers would fill that...- PJ

My mother has a .410 gauge Charles Daly side by side that she gave my father for his birthday in the early 60's. It was old then. It's a work of art - the fine engraving. There's a flower that pops out when you break down the action - so cool, just great to look at.- PJ

My first questions to the lawyer were all basically what is our liability if something goes wrong. He said that a trustee would have to be guilty of gross negligence to get in any kind of trouble, that he hoped she would agree to be the trustee and that it is a paid position and $100 per hour...- PJ
