I surfed better back when I had to ride whatever I had. I had one friend who was a shaper and I always got his hand me downs, had to make those work. He was a ripper, 20 lbs lighter but his heart was in those boards, they were his customs, not mine. Kinda off topic food for thought.

I fished out my first gx from my mom’s garage and surfed it in some marginal beachbreak here on Kauai.

I hadn’t surfed a proper shortboard in a while. Nothing better than a well-shaped thruster, really.

It’s a 6’2” and weirdly feels like it paddles better than the 6’10 Arakawa holy moly i yoloed for the visit. Might need to order up another for the mainland.

Anyone got experience on a decibel? Looks like sweet and fishy with slightly more up and down built in.

Picked up my 6'6 stretched out can opener with double bump swallow recently. Don't have tons of shreds on it yet but thing is soooo fast. Went twin plus trailer and the stretched out fish glide is real. Another gem by Senor Stamps
