Flexing that Norcal muscle?

I have no favorites right now. Even my old favorites have sucked ...because the waves locally have been so sucky. I could get in the car and drive an hour and get better waves...but not THAT much better. Nothing that is worth the drive. It' been 7 weeks since I last got good waves.

So right now all my boards suck.

Come on Winter!

5'11"x 19 1/2"x 2 5/16" quad shortboard from DJ Kane

I've had it since 2018 but had a baby at that time and broke my leg in 2020 so I had been riding boards with more foam but I've been riding this 9x out of 10 lately. Super fast and I feel like a good surfer riding it.

I'm a massive Tomo enthusiast as most know, but lately I've been loving this custom PodMod from CI.

5'8" x 19" x 2-3/8". 30.2 liters. A bit less tail rocker than a Wizard Sleeve board of the same size/dimensions... but equal volume.

Squash tail, deep six channel, Varial board finished by Mike Walters with Greg Griffin's fins - this is the last set he made specifically for me. I'm going to miss him.

Board has an airbrush copied form the last CI six channel I had.

Those dims don’t add up to that volume.

Don't know what to tell you. It works for me. And it says that on the "stringer" and in my emails with Scotty & Mike. I'm good with it, whatever it is.
My 5150 sk8 or "step deck" is 5'6" x19 x2.375" 29.7l
Maybe all the meat is still on the bone or stringer:shrug:

Also a DK quad, but mines a speed dialer shape tuned for performance with more entry rocker and super thinned out tail. Also using the "Super Dialer" fins vs. the canard quads made all the difference
