My sister the retired principal said, schools always get by on a shoestring.

The people make it work.

It don't take much to upset things when you run it that way.

THE FLU ??? What happened to that deadly virus. Poof… just like that, gone. But Kaiser health plan knows better. And just like that I got the high dose of the new flu vaccine last Thursday morning and by six pm my blood pressure had shot up to 186/86 and my temperature to 102. I was going to the ER but the drive to the Claremont ER was worst than death. Then suddenly about midnight my BP dropped to 90/60, temp to 99.9. I spent the whole next day in bed hardly able to walk. Beware

physical and mental health are inexorably linked

the placebo effect is the positive example of this fact

the nocebo effect is what happened to people when mass media started doing their dirty deed with respect to COVID (and every fucking other thing under the sun)

Nah, you didn't get it.
The first paragraph clearly states that people who suffer from some mental health problems such as anxiety or depression are more likely to get long covid.
More like they are more likely to attribute their mental illness symptoms to “Long Covid”.

"COVID is still killing hundreds of people every day, which means more than 125,000 additional COVID deaths could occur over the next 12 months if deaths continue at that pace...
A bad flu season kills about 50,000 people."
So per the article's contents, the headline "...Less risky than the flu" is total bullshit???
