Looking for any advice from any of you that have shipped a prone paddleboard.
Shipping 1 from east to west coast in Sept. Any freight company recommendations? Technique’s for packing the board so it doesn’t get trashed by the freight company?

I was quoted $800 to ship. Gotta wonder if you should sell and buy new at that price to ship. Especially, going to west coast.

Kinda steep but might be inline due to residential.

there could be a shop shipping commerical bulk and would be willing to add your board to it.I’ve never done this e to w. Kinda a Hail Mary approach.

fwiw, when i got my stock surftech Bark in 2019, i ordered direct from surftech & the freight company still managed to damage the board.

I got a quote for $350 without insurance. Already a lot of cash, and paranoid about damage. Think I’ll just strap it to the roof.
