For those of you with 5150's how do you size them?

There's one that popped up locally. It's 5'5 x 29 liters. I'm 6'1 x 195 lbs. Do you add 1.5 liters for the missing nose, like tomos?

How's the response been?
Well there's been others now who have gotten it and say the same as Nathan. It's really hard to get the volume right on it but if you do, it's something really new.
Is that because of the cut off nose?
Yeah, you can't match the volume. Like, if you're riding 29 litres, a 5150 with 29 litres doesn't work. You have to get the 5150 with 28 to balance it. It's the only way it goes.

Forgot to show pic comparing fin placement to my 5 fin buzzsaw (10"(fronts) 5" (back)) 5'6" x19" x2.1.8" to my 5150 (9"(fronts) 4"(back)) twin w/ trailer tighter quad trailer fins 5'7" X19" X2.25"
Took some time off work to get to know my 5150 better and got a little time with her. First thing noticed easy paddle which I hoped second " built for speed" instant speed when you get up a planing machine. Then while going I got the feel/speed of a twin but also the drive of a quad with the "FU 2win twin set front and FU S1 rears" may have to call this a "twaud". The flex or liveliness of this board is like no other I have owned "first no stringer" and feels great down line. Another thing I noticed surfing low tide waist to shoulder high beach break is how the snub nose just plows thru any thing no problem no speed lost. I am still trying to figure out if speed is from flat bottom and reverse channels or if twin set up w/ rear fins back helps add extra speed. Regardless thanks to Stretch crew for doing this and Miky Picon and Dylan Graves for testing this out. Super stocked with my 5150 right out of box:shaka:

Ya did it in one shot I got a It2win year ago and recently my 5150 looks sweet stocked:cheers:
What's everyone using for the It, in terms of fin setup? I have a set of the quad ST1's, thruster set of the AM2's and Machado Pivots, plus some honesycomb AM1's, and the Lovelace Piggyback Quad set.

No help my It is twin set up so I go FU 2win set but as quad I would run the FU S1 or S2 set my favorite quad set(s) even have 5 fin sets but only run as quad.
