We would still be using our own petrol sources, and not going back to depending and begging the Middle East cartels to give us a break.

Cheaper petrol products keep inflation down, and have been for decades.

Spikes don't usually last for long and just flash in the pan scares. Biden and team want it PERMANENT.

Biden and his puppet masters WANT oil and nat gas to go up in price as much as possible.

It's the ONLY way they can push their GND propaganda and programs. If oil and nat gas stay cheap, GND fails to deliver.

They don't give 2 ratz azz'ezs about the poor and middle class having to shell out $100's more a month to fill gas tanks, and pay more for everything delivered with it, let alone used to manufacture it.

No Climate Justice!! No Climate Peace!!

That should be the squads new catch phrase for their sheep.

I had thought this too.

Dried beans are still cheap.

Home prices are where the inflation is. Who can afford the property taxes?

Thanks Biden.
Or save “20% down” when prices go up 35% over 2 years. :foreheadslap: :toilet:

Buy and refi and hope the equity covers the PMI.

It's difficult to keep up, I know. Sometimes it's just easier to live in the past.

A year on and rent is about to hit the CPI which should send it North of 6.8%. Also the shelter index has a low multiplier compared to the percentage of income people actually spend on shelter. Time to reflect on all the Boomers who parroted the news that this was transitory.

Yeah, inflation couldn't be a product of increased demand and constrained supply. It must be part of a global communist conspiracy promulgated by the Democrats, the Rothchilds, the World Bank, the Catholics, the Freemasons, the FBI, the CIA, the Federal Reserve, and the Illuminati to destroy America and bring down western civilization. Yeah, that must be it, no doubt.

this

for the first time Debit Card spend has outdone Credit Card spend.
Now that's a telling point

the supply chain cannot keep up with the demand generated by people buying tons of crap
people buying tons of crap was a way for them to deal with the frustration and restrictions of the pandemic but all these demand buyers which is the current engine of the US economy forgot that about the negative impact of the pandemic to the supply side. Remember when there was a meat crisis last year? Multiply that by every type of goods and you can see why things go up with scarcity.

Quit buying crap and maybe the supply side can catch up.
but in the US we are programmed to buy buy buy buy buy buy buy
for happiness
