**BONZER THREAD 2014**

Selling a CB B5 speed egg w/ e-wing that's lightly used, in great condition, no dings ( a few small dimples). It's 6'9 x 20 3/4 x 2 5/8. I picked it up b/c they are so hard to get these days and had to try it out. It got me hooked on bonzers, but it's too much board for me, so I've replaced it with a new 6'4 (see above) that should be ready any day now. I'll post the Craigslist ad once I post it, but if anyone's interested we connect through this thread. It was shaped by Malcolm Campbell and glassed at Moonlight. Asking $700 w/o center fin (need it for new one). Would need to be a local pickup in San Diego CA. If it doesn't sell, I'll put it on consignment at Bird's Surf shed at some point soon.

Wow. Posted the board, went to bed, and woke up to some frothing over this board via text, email, etc. Went instantly. I guess I coulda sold it for more, but I got a good deal on it myself so glad to pass on that sweet board to someone else who will appreciate it. Sad to see it go, but looking forward to its smaller more orangey cousin, and I need to give my other bonzer attention too. Plus, that dude who picked it up was frickin' stoked. No haggle, just took a once over, handed me cash, popped it in his car and took off smiling. Hah!

need advice from the bonzer collective...what's the consensus on a 2 board quiver of an alpha-omega & a russ short? my local bonzer supplier has a 6'2"x20 5/8"x2 11/16" A-O & both a 6'6"x20 1/8"x2 5/8" & a 6'8"x20 1/2"x2 13/16" Russ Short. i'm thinking A-O as my daily driver & RS as good day/step up or one board travel quiver.

Looks like AO has plenty meat so work waist to oh+ but it does like a wave with push so you might need a grovel board if you don't like mid or ligs.

i have a 5'10" fish & a 9'6" log from my local shaper...was kinda planning on selling the fish, but i'm on the fence about it.
If you want to sk8 or sb knee high to waist waves keep  AO does not like mush much under waist but above you can manage on peak if wave picks up.

i also have a surf mat & prone paddleboard...don't have much interest in trying to ride a sb in weak mush these days & would just as soon get a mini Simmons or something along those lines down the road.

so those 2 boards would be a decent 2 board quiver? leaning toward the 6'8" RS over the 6'6" as i know they're typically meant to be ridden longer

It is with deep sadness that I report that Malcom's son Ian passed after a long, difficult and courageous battle with cancer. It was a peaceful transition and he was surrounded by the entire Campbell Clan.

Past this I am at a loss for words. Take care of yourselves and each other. This is all temporary.

A few weeks ago I got head butted by my rail hard enough to leave a bump over my eye:drowning: my AO only has pressure ding :shaka:
PU/epoxy 6/4 6 S glass
How do you like you AO? What are your thoughts on the board?
What type/size waves does it perform well in?
Would you compare it to a Rocket Fish/high performance fish type surfboard?
