There's a pro on NS who's parents run four rental houses, and have four mortgages. Hopefully new laws help squash that kind of thing.

we know you shred behind the unkos at Makaha, no need to toot your own horn.Used to go in March, a bit risky but scored 2 out of 3 years, 90% of my surfs were lesser known spots
Tell us how you owned VLand again, kookwe know you shred behind the unkos at Makaha, no need to toot your own horn.
lived on Oahu for 5 years and surfed V-land many a time, would only go out there when there were lefts on offer. The right is too soft and short for my tastes, you can sit on the longer more punchy lefts and pick them off at willTell us how you owned VLand again, kook
I know so many people who got in over their heads in Kailua. Buying expensive houses and basing their repayment on Airbnb rentals. There's a pro on NS who's parents run four rental houses, and have four mortgages. Hopefully new laws help squash that kind of thing.
sounds like an opportunity to scoop up some cheaper foreclosuresI know so many people who got in over their heads in Kailua. Buying expensive houses and basing their repayment on Airbnb rentals.
Actually, the exact opposite of what people thought would happen. People are bidding 300-500K over asking price.sounds like an opportunity to scoop up some cheaper foreclosures
you think the rail line will be finished by 2050?I kinda love how fcked Oahu is.
Yeah I need to make a north shore pilgrimage one of these days while I’m still confident and capable in crowded powerful tropical reef surf . Late winter has always been my thought as well. The contests are over, the locals have been surfing their brains out since October, and hey, my very first time on a surf board was Waikiki 33 years ago. Haven’t been to Oahu since. maybe late February 2023?The best time to come is late January through March, but the Pipe Masters is now late January, so I’d suggest Feb-March. It’s mostly uncrowded and you can get the wave(s) of you life.
Outside of the main spots there’s so many waves.
We can have a contest on who's boondoggle rail line gets finished first - California or Oahu. I think Oahu will win on time but CA is way ahead on wasted money.you think the rail line will be finished by 2050?
