I noticed on some posts some owners of the Wrecking Ball, didn't see, or could not find feedback on how it rides, etc.

Any insights would be great, as I may have made a premature purchase, but it looks sweet to me.

Looks like the perfect board to wreck havoc on adult learners with wavestorms and have some fun with out logging. I love the stinger design had a 6' Ben Aipa single stinger in high school that did it all. I recently kind of tried to relive with a it2win twin stinger 6'9" x20" x 2.5" really fun but does not grovel as good and prefers a little juice even at knee high. It2win is pretty rockered out both ends and really foiled where wrecking ball looks like its pretty flat and quad should be fun as hell:shaka:

Under volume have to ride only in tropical water :shaka:

Good to know I went a little higher on the volume side 39L to replace some boards I just departed with, looks like it will be a blast

I was referring to Miley dims my it2win is 38l I think or some where around 36-38 I forget and catches waves pretty easy but you kinda have to paddle more momentum strokes (like cadilac) instead of fast and furious

Here are the 2 I have. A 6’10 Dark Arts and a 6’6 carbon Varial that I haven’t ridden yet due to knee surgery. They have lots of rocker and can handle well OH+ swell. If you’ve never seen one in person, you’re in for a surprise once you do. Duke‘s very sharp mid rail bevel is like nothing else I’ve ridden. It allows the board to be wide which obviously helps with paddling/float. But at the same time feels way narrower when riding and turning. When I bottom turn, the rail sinks so smoothly and releases with a lot of speed and squirt. It definitely took some getting used to, but once I figured it out after a handful of waves I realized how fast the rail goes through the water. And that’s when I was able to really use that speed effectively. It almost doesn’t makes sense how lively they feel for how wide they are.

Tried to get a few good shots of the rail

Yummy!!!! They look great and happy to hear that feedback! Hoping it will fill some of the groveler space into some of the quality days.

My OTR YOLO purchase should be here late next week, was looking at it and just couldn't help myself she spoke to me, get the sense that I can work with it, change my approach to wave riding.
-only concern is the thickness seems a bit aggressive at 2 15/16" but I am heavy footed.

What fins do you generally run? Seems that quad set up is desired, which is fine by me.
