It can handle semi hollow waves just fine. Just not throaty more critical type barrels. Tri works great. No issues. Get it. I’m switching out to a quad as I travel to fast backside waves because I have too many goofy friends. Twin and quads that will hold high lines to make speed sections help in that pursuit.

As far a good wave alt crafts go, it’s hard to beat a single fin.
Exactly what I Intended for this recently acquired 7' fish. Decent sized beachbreaks and point waves.

For me, it's the Hess Traveler. I have a 6'0 quad that I ride in anything shoulder to well overhead. Also have an 8'6 on order that should be finished soon. Add a 6'8, and I'd have a complete OB fall-winter quiver.
