Time to think low end more and thinking 5150 not sure yet when I have funds if I wait 10 weeks or go yolo so need idea on low end dims for 5'8" 170# . I was thinking 5'6" x19" x 2.25" and adding length and thickness and keeping width around my hpsb ie: buzzsaw and 2x4 step up.
What’s your ideal volume?

I think it depends on design I old and feel a board under arm but also know certain range of height, thickness, and width is going to work. My superbuzz is 27.?(8) yet my It2win is 36 and my step up 2x4 is 32. I got my gbuzz super corky to sk8 small waves yet it works good up to head+ yet like any corky board with float a lot of foam to push. When all is said and done I well most likely go to Dylan and ask what he thinks about 5'6" x19" x2.25" sk8 and tell him range etc:cheers:

These boards look so much better with a nose on them.
Looks:shrug: kinda figured it was a design aspect to 5150 but maybe it was all for looks:monkey:
I wonder if stretch would do buzz nose as well. Looks more like buzzsaw nose then say 2x4 or more hpsb line.

Do any superbuzz aficionados like to ride theirs as a thruster or twin + trailer?
if so, what fins do you like in each configuration?
I’ve only ridden mine as a quad
with ST1 (too squirrelly for me) and ST3 (much better).

SB 5'2" x19.5" x2.375" thumbtail CFT medium
Me: 5'8" 170#
I liked the Stretch ST3 set but SB was meant to ride as a quad and minute I tried the FU#2 never changed even though I own 2 five fin sets and all my custom Stretch have 5 boxes. For me the FU#3 controller set felt like I was dragging a anchor behind but work great on my gbuzz. I tried the AMT twin with small back fin set as well and had no drive.

pretty much same results for me. FU#2 were the winner (and all credit goes to rowjimmytour!)

Seems like FU is AWOL. Dylan told me they haven’t received any fins from them in over four months. No one picks up their phone either.
