Wut size is your fish?

I ride a 5’6 x 20.5 x 2.38 fish and my lightbender is 5’7 x 20.25 x 2.5 and no regrets. Don’t worry about liters with these things, they pack some foam.
Thanks! I ride a 5'10 x21 x2.6 Sunstone. And I dig it but want something a bit more performance. SO maybe the stock 5'11?

Can anyone recommend sizing a Lightbender? I love the volume of my Twinsman RT. 6'0 x20.5 x2.6 37 liters.
I'm thinking 5'10 x21 x2.6 for more grovel ability. Bit more fishy outline. Thanks!
I think you're in the ball park. My Lightbender is 2.6 thick and I went 2.5 on the Twinsman as per Matt's recommendation since it has a flatter deck. Rail thickness seems about the same. I think you could get away with a touch more thickness on the LB if you are looking to maximize volume. It will definitely have more low end than the Twinsman but it's not going to grovel like a full on wide tailed board.

AP exacta? Tempting.
GONE!

I wonder if a 5'3 is too small for me?

Im thinking a 5'4 or 5'5, correct?? I'm 5'6 150lbs.

Big fat it depends. I would seek Matt’s council. I think custom 5’3 is better then riding one at your height.

Surfed the Twinsman at Kaiser’s (not a secret spot) and it feels like the board was made for that wave. It’s a shallow wedge and has a nice pocket and wall, similar to Snapper but obviously much shorter. Board went mental. Tight wraps in the pocket, finners and even a few barrels. Board really reminds me of my Stretch Mr Buzz.

That's funny, I thought it was based on the XX's aesthetic:

The basicness is probably more suited to Album's image but could definitely be an edge thing.
I’m pretty sure there’s no correlation to straight edge or The XX. I just feel too old to rock a t shirt with an X on it.

Coincidentally the XX is one of two bands (Beach House, being the other) that my wife will allow on “guests over” playlists.

LOLZ. Is everything else you want on the playlist so offensive?

^Same, my music is not welcome in my wife's ears.
My wife is Latina Tica and first time she heard one of my live Dead tapes was like wtf:bricks: she tolerates and even has gone to festivals with me years ago but never well be a head:foreheadslap: Lucky I love all kinds of music and still think best lazy Sunday afternoon music to late evening is Salsa and Merengue:shaka:
