This. I got a new 7'0" twin from AG as a step up for when it gets heavier. And it's worked really great backside at OH thick reefs. Not sure what it would do in mediocre waves and not sure I'll really try...I'd talk to your shaper with regards to your intentions since I think most of these style of boards are meant to be more step-ups for guys on 5'4"s rather than for shitty waves?
LOL. Well played, sir!Thats your Album rear set twin right next to it ;-)
Yeah -- this is exactly what I'm thinking except with a swallow. Maybe wide point at or a lil north of center.just saw rob ripping this on insta View attachment 110165
looks loose and not nose heavy despite the funboard glide
That's a good lookin board.Here's my big twin. 7-7 x 21 x 2-3/4.
It failed in its design brief to compete with longboards at my local. It surfs GREAT (think big carves) but does not catch waves early. Too big for the beaches. I'm about to create a smaller version (6-8) for the beaches.

I like this one too!
5'8" 170#
6'9" x20" x2.5" It 2win pintail Fins unlimited 2win twin set 5.5"(h) 5 25"(b). Stretch It single to double out back continues rocker and buzz nose. The rails are super foiled and has some nice nose rocker to handle steeper stuff. Fins are 11" back not sure cant but longer rail and stinger allow board to be turned easily upper deck or mid instead of having to stomp on fin cluster. Board paddles like a cadilac once you get it moving nice momentum
I kinda like the idea of stingers/hip bumps in the tail too. Had a 6'3" fish I rode into the dirt -- kinda looking to replicate that for older, slower, stiffer, older, less coordinated, older, achier, tireder, lazier me. I find immense value in a board that turns but also affords one that courtesy extra half-second when bumbling to one's feet.
Is it the camera angle or are those fins set like 14" up? I like the e-wings, though they almost look like e-stings.
I've never measured. The board is 6'8, 20ish and 3 inches thick - with a flat deck. Amazing board in any sort of conditions. Is it the camera angle or are those fins set like 14" up? I like the e-wings, though they almost look like e-stings.
