CNN says the 67 votes in the Senate to impeach are there. i was thinking there wasn't time before the inauguration but it occurs to me that if you could acquit him in a single day with no testimony, as i believe was the case last time, then you could convict him in the same manner.

At this point you know Pence, McConnell and other high ranking republicans facing re-election or aspirations for higher office want him to resign to save them the trouble of being on the record and voting either way. And he's likely going to hang on until the very end just to fck all of them over. It's glorious.
