Enough of Obama’s czars. We have plenty of government institutions that are supposed to handle this exact thing.
Americans Are Dying In The Pandemic At Rates Far Higher Than In Other Countries
Per capita deaths in the U.S. from COVID-19 and other causes are 85% higher than in countries like Germany and Israel. "The United States really has done remarkably badly," a study author says.www.npr.org

But hours earlier, senior members of the president’s economic team, privately addressing board members of the conservative Hoover Institution, were less confident. Tomas J. Philipson, a senior economic adviser to the president, told the group he could not yet estimate the effects of the virus on the American economy. To some in the group, the implication was that an outbreak could prove worse than Mr. Philipson and other Trump administration advisers were signaling in public at the time.
The next day, board members — many of them Republican donors — got another taste of government uncertainty from Larry Kudlow, the director of the National Economic Council. Hours after he had boasted on CNBC that the virus was contained in the United States and “it’s pretty close to airtight,” Mr. Kudlow delivered a more ambiguous private message. He asserted that the virus was “contained in the U.S., to date, but now we just don’t know,” according to a document describing the sessions obtained by The New York Times.
The document, written by a hedge fund consultant who attended the three-day gathering of Hoover’s board, was stark. “What struck me,” the consultant wrote, was that nearly every official he heard from raised the virus “as a point of concern, totally unprovoked.”
Too many "trusted agencies" are absolutely untrustworthy and otherwise worthless.POTUS‘ legacy will be the long lasting damage done to the reputation of trusted public agencies.

Have you seen the percentage case increases in the EU? WAY higher than even the peaks back in the early months.Daily US case averages had dipped to around 34,300 by September 12. But now, the country is averaging more than 55,000 new cases daily over the past week -- up more than 60% since mid-September's dip.
Covid-19 hospitalizations also are climbing nationwide. And they'll likely be followed by a rise in daily coronavirus deaths, says Dr. Francis Collins, director of the National Institutes of Health.
"This is a good moment for people to stop and ask themselves, 'What can I do to try to be sure that we limit the further infections that otherwise seem to be looming in front of us as cold weather is kicking in and people are indoors, and those curves are going upward, in the wrong direction?' " Collins said Friday.
No they don't. Lay off the hydroxyThey make the USA look like South Korea.
platitude much?Too many "trusted agencies" are absolutely untrustworthy and otherwise worthless.

Why you can’t get a quick, simple at-home COVID-19 test
There’s a COVID-19 test that is as simple and quick as brushing your teeth. But it’s not legal for widespread use. As Americans return to school and work, activists push for legislative and regulat…www.google.com
Add just 4 Euro countries total new daily cases up today, and they surpass ALL of USA's total daily cases today (see bottom graph). No they don't. Lay off the hydroxy
Your hydroxy addled assertion was that we look like S. Korea.Add just 4 Euro countries total new daily cases up today, and they surpass ALL of USA's total daily cases today (see bottom graph).
These 4 Euro countries are not even 2/3 of the total USA population combined, to boot (about 60% or so).
Not counting Spain and Germany which have also seen new highs in daily new case totals.
I'd say it looks like they're looking pretty bad by comparison to USA.
USA is bumping up a bit, but not even close to the spikes many EU countries are seeing.
And their economies are twice as bad off as USA is today.
