Thanks for the info. I'm thinking of it almost as a step up egg.

Does 6'4 feel big enough to get the sense of glide or would you go a bit longer?

Needs a bigger wave or some push... Hollower wave. BUt I reckon it needs a bigger wave so that it can fit the curve of the wave. Very easy to surf. Feels like a quad although it is a twin (probably due to the channels). Does not go vertical at least with me. Still need to try it in 6 feet plus.

To get the glide I would definetly go bigger. At 6'4 only glides if it the wave has some push.

I would look at a massive. 6'10 and up to get that glide feeling

Yeah, I think I need a small(er) Massive, they could name it the Oxymoron.

Tell me about the v-bowls?
It's really a one board quiver if you're mid-length inclined. It works in anything knee to head high +. Very foiled and bladey, hull-ish entry with minimal foam up front but still glides well in small surf.
With that wide point back and rounded pin tail, it surfs really well off the back foot. It's a keeper for sure.

Currently:
5'4 x 20 1/4 x 2.5" 31L LSD tex as quad
5'4 x 18 7/8 x 2 3/8 26,7 LCymatic
6'0 18 3/4 2 3/8 28L Tube Pig
Looking at the CI Happy (at like 5'10 18 3/4 2 3/8 26 L) to fill the gap, but pretty happy with this

Updated quiver:
Maybe Superbrand Fling or the GMM2
Maybe Tomo Sci-fi 2 or another Cymatic
5'10 HPSB like the CI happy
sticking with the 6'0 Tube pig here as well

My 4 board quiver is:
1. 5'10" Hydronaut for DOH barreling stand up barrels.
2. 5'5" Hydroshort for OH to about waist high.
3. 5'5" X-34 for ankle high to HH.
4. 5'3' Cymatic for ankle high to HH.

Would like to throw a GMM2 in there, but need to try one first.

I'm pretty much down to 2-3 boards. I don't surf in anything heavy, mostly stick to fun-size surf. Once it's a few feet overhead in my neck of the woods, it isn't fun for me. If it looks like I'm not going to have fun, I skip it. Call me a pvssy, but a man or woman should always know their limits.

-A grovel board for ankle slapper days (currently a homemade MiniSimmons)
- A short fat fish/shortboard hybrid (currently a Chemistry Sea Robin)
-A regular shortboard in the 6'0" or 6'2" range for fun-size days

My quiver is 4 boards which is probably overkill for me. But it is...
5'5 Stretch Mr. Buzz (Dylan's old personal custom)
5'11 Maurice Cole EEV Shorty
6'1 stock Ghost trifin
6'2 Stretch 2x4 (five boxes)

I do get to poach my son's boards in the smallest junk of NC
- 5'9 Lost Motivator
- 7'0 INT x CI Wave Hog
