I hate the sandbar. Me and the Mrs. stopped in for a drink one afternoon. Every twenty and thirty something is sitting out on the patio. They seated us in the back in the empty "family" section. I know I tip better than the kids do. Fvck em. Never going back

I have never been in that establishment.

I say challenge enforcement, as mentioned.

What’s the worst they’re going to do? Can you trespass in an ocean?

Once you’re off land there are no laws.... riiiiight?

And pro surfing can't figure out why it's a joke, can't get sponsors and can't get fans.

A security guard mercilessly beats down a guy with obvious mental problems, and all the contest organizers laugh like monkeys.

That kid should have gotten a lawyer and been the new owner of pro surfing

And while I'm on a roll, what kind of pussy punches is he throwing?

Wild haymakers and elbows at a defenseless guys head, and the guy is able to sit and watch the rest of the contest?

A real fighter would have sent him to the hospital on a stretcher

I think that was when Kala was a white belt, maybe blue.

Over priced but it’s good to go there on occasion.

I prefer Los agaves, superica, el shittyhole.
Everything at Los Agaves tastes the same. Corporate Mexican.

Superica? Yuck! Tortillas flavored by the dripping sweat of fat women.

Los Arroyos on Coast Village only.

What r your thoughts on The Shop on Milpas? East Beach Tacos Gangnam Style

I go to different places for specific dishes. I don’t order different dishes at the same place.

Los Arroyos downtown is close to my home so we walk over there a bit.

Never eaten at the shop.

Just down from it is cesar’s place where I get sarandeado.

East beach tacos is pretty good. I haven’t yet figured out the best thing to get there.

El bajío is pretty good.

There’s a place in Santa Paula called La Casita that some good tacos.

I ran dozens of surf contests at OB Pier. The "core" locals would let us run it without any hassles. The worst offenders were the ones that showed up from wherever and saw 6 guys out. I finally figured out that if you stopped them before they paddled out they would surf elsewhere.

Try Shop, breakfast or lunch. You won't be disappointed. Avoid it at noon. The high school kids found it. I felt really out of place surrounded by twenty fifteen year olds. I've heard El Bajio is good. Maybe tomorrow.

East Beach has a nice selection between spicy and mild Gangnam is my favorite. I usually get two spicy, and follow it with a mild.

Stay away from their burger. It sucks.

Kainoa had already made the point. Kala's actions were just cheap and gratuitous.

On the other hand, it is kind of funny when you see a spectator run onto the football field only to get pummeled by a free safety. But it's generally only one hit.

Or better yet, throwing a beer at Ron Artest.

I think the mental health issues are pretty consistent across the board.

Out of curiosity I looked up an interview with Kala.

A half white guy from Kauai trying to save Hawaii from white guys, and keeping tourists who try to surf Pipeline safe from injury by beating them up.

My bad on thinking his sensai wouldn't look kindly on his student beating up a guy with no fighting skills, after the drama was over. His teacher was the guy on the jet ski.

My oh my, this world is a fucked up place.

Even the Cobra Kai sensei only wanted to take it as far as sweeping the leg.
